How to Reset Your Password

If you have forgotten your password or need to reset it, you can easily do so from the login screen.

1. Open the Doorcast Login Page

  • Navigate to the Doorcast login page using your web browser.

2. Click on "Forgot Password?"

  • On the login screen, you will see a link labeled "Forgot username/password?" located below the login form.

  • Click on the "Forgot username/password?" link.

3. Enter Your Email Address

  • You will be redirected to the password reset page.

  • Enter the email address associated with your Doorcast account in the provided field.

  • Click the "Submit" button

4. Check Your Email

  • After submitting your email address, check your inbox for an email from Doorcast.

  • This email will contain a link to reset your password. If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder.

5. Click the Reset Password Link

  • Open the email and click on the "Reset Password" link provided.

  • This link will redirect you to a secure page where you can set a new password.

6. Set Your New Password

  • On the reset password page, enter your new password in the appropriate fields.

  • Make sure your password meets the security requirements (e.g., minimum length, use of special characters, etc.).

  • Confirm your new password by entering it again in the confirmation field.

7. Submit Your New Password

  • Click the "Reset Password" or "Submit" button to save your new password.

  • You will see a confirmation message indicating that your password has been successfully reset.

8. Confirmation

  • If successful you will be logged into your account and brought to the Dashboard page.

Troubleshooting Tips:

  • No Reset Email Received: If you do not receive the password reset email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk mail folder. Ensure that you entered the correct email address. If the issue persists, contact Doorcast support for further assistance.

  • Invalid or Expired Link: Password reset links are typically valid for a limited time. If you receive an error message indicating that the link is invalid or expired, repeat the password reset process to receive a new link.

  • Security Considerations: Choose a strong password that you do not use for other accounts. Password Requirement

    • Minimum 8 Characters

    • Use upper and lower case

    • At least 1 Number (0123456789)
