How to Manage Contractors in Doorcast

Accessing Contractors Management

  1. Log In to Your Account: Ensure you are logged into Doorcast with administrator credentials.

  2. Navigate to Contractors: Click on the "Admin" dropdown menu at the top of the dashboard and select "Contractors."

Creating a Contractor

  1. Open Create Contractor Modal: Click on the "Create Contractor" button, which will open a modal.

  2. Fill in Contractor Details:

    • Active Status: Toggle the Active switch to ON if the contractor is currently active.

    • Name and Contact Information: Enter the contractor's name, email address (optional), and phone number (optional).

    • Address: Provide the contractor's physical address if necessary.

    • Services: Select the service(s) that the contractor provides from the dropdown menu.

    • Notes: Add any relevant notes or additional information.

  3. Add Contractor: Once all details are correctly filled in, click on "Add Contractor" to save the new contractor profile.

Editing a Contractor

  1. Locate the Contractor: Find the contractor you wish to edit from the list.

  2. Access Edit Options: Click on the three dots (kebab menu) next to the contractor's name and select "Edit."

  3. Modify Contractor Details: In the edit modal, update any details such as name, services, contact information, or active status.

  4. Save Changes: Click "Save Changes" to update the contractor's details.

Deleting a Contractor

  1. Select Delete Option: Instead of choosing "Edit," click on "Delete" from the kebab menu for the respective contractor.

  2. Confirm Deletion: A confirmation modal will appear asking if you are sure you want to delete the contractor. Click "Delete" to confirm.
