Step 1: Navigate to 'Audits' -> 'Templates' and Click on 'New Audit Template'

Step 2: Name Your Audit Template

In the text input, type the name of your audit template.

Step 3: Save Your Audit Template

In the top right, click the blue 'Save Template' button. Your audit template will then be created and ready to add tasks.

Step 4: Create Your First Task

In the center of the screen click on 'Create your first task'. This will allow you to start adding tasks.

Step 5: Start Adding Tasks

From here we'll actually start building your audit template and adding tasks.

1. The first thing you'll need to do is select what type of task you want it to be.

Task Types:

  • Select One - Gives the auditor multiple choices, but only allows them to select one answer.

  • Select Multiple - Gives the auditor multiple choices and allows them to select many.

  • Yes or No - Allows the auditor to give a simple yes or no response.

  • Number Answer - Allows the auditor to give a number answer.

  • Scale (1 - 10) - Allows the auditor to answer on a scale of 1 to 10.

  • Short Answer - Allows the user to enter long text

2. After that we need to add the task title.

3. The last required step is to assign the task to specific areas. In our example, we're concerned with holes being in the carpet so we'll assign it to all of the bedrooms in our hypothetical unit by clicking on the areas in the bottom bar. (If no areas are showing, click in the white box containing your task, as if it is inactive, the areas will not show.)

4. (Optional) Add images or upload PDFs. If you need to add a PDF or an image for auditors to reference during the audit they can be attached to the specific task in the bottom left.

**If you want to add optional tasks (For example if they answered yes to the task above, we might want to ask how many there are) you can click on 'Required' toggle in the top right of the task card.

Step 6: Save The Audit Template

In the top right click the blue 'Save' button and the template will be saved.
