How to Edit or Delete a Role in Doorcast

Step 1: Navigate to Role Management

  1. Go to the Admin Dropdown: Click on the Admin option at the top right corner of your dashboard.

  2. Select Role & Permissions: Choose Role & Permissions from the dropdown menu to open the role management page.

Step 2: Locate the Role

  1. Find the Role: Browse the list of roles until you find the one you wish to modify or delete. Roles are typically listed by name along with their creation and modification dates.

Step 3: Edit or Delete the Role

  1. Access Options: Click on the triple dot kebab icon (⋮) next to the role you want to adjust. This will display a small menu with options.

  2. Edit the Role: To change the name or adjust the permissions of the role, click Edit Role. Make the necessary changes in the dialog that appears and save your updates.

  3. Delete the Role: If you need to remove the role entirely, select Delete Role from the menu. You will likely be prompted to confirm this action to prevent accidental deletions.
